Your Right to Erasure
Under Article 17 of the GDPR, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data when:
- The data is no longer necessary for the original purpose.
- You withdraw consent and there is no other legal basis.
- You object to the processing of your personal data.
- The data has been processed unlawfully.
- The data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation.
When You Can Request Deletion
You can request deletion of your data when:
- Business contact data is no longer relevant to the activity.
- You wish to withdraw consent for newsletters or marketing communications.
- You believe the data was collected or processed improperly.
- You have ended the business relationship with OMNI®.
Exceptions to the Right of Erasure
The right to erasure does not apply when processing is necessary for:
- Exercising the right of freedom of expression and information.
- Complying with a legal obligation requiring processing by EU or national law.
- Public interest reasons in the area of public health.
- Archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research.
- Establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
